(the top ten full-time jobs for women in the United States — secretary, waitress, sales clerk, etc — are the same as thirty years ago, and over the course of their prime earning years women make 38 percent of what men make)

So, anti-feminists, keep your “we don’t need feminism ‘cause everything is good and equal now” statements to yourselves and do some fucking reading.

This is sad. More women then men are getting college educations, too. Please ladies go out and pound some more glass ceilings, and don’t settle for low pay. And yes I know that until women are NOT expected to be unpaid care givers for children and elderly there will never be parity.
I think that women also need coaching on how/when/why to ask for raises. (I will now bypass the snarky comment about men thinking you owe them a raise because of certain exterior appendages, but you know they put themselves out there more and expect it, and get it.)
Prime earning years? Who Dat?
